Jardin du Luxembourg

The Luxembourg gardens in Paris belong to the Palais du Luxembourg, which houses the Senate. Perhaps this is why it is one of the best kept public green spaces in this city. It is a place loved by tourists and Parisians alike. They are easily distinguished. For former often armed with selfy-sticks, the latter enjoying the tennis courts, petanque area or the chess tables.

The park lies in the city’s sixth district. During lunch hours many students will be having lunch in the park. On a sunny day you will find many people are still reading a physical book or elderly finding a bench to take in some sunshine. The pictures in this post were taken over a periode of 8 weeks while attending Speos photography school in 2016.
