The Lomography Belair X 6-12 is a versatile medium-format folding camera launched in 2012. It is unique for offering an automatic exposure system in a panoramic 6x12 format, housed in a retro bellows design that collapses for portability.
Key Features
Multi-Format Capability: It uses interchangeable plastic masks to shoot three different frame sizes on standard 120 roll film:
6x12 (Panoramic): 6 shots per roll.
6x9 (Standard): 8 shots per roll.
6x6 (Square): 12 shots per roll.
Automatic Exposure: Features an electronic aperture-priority shutter (requires two LR44 batteries) that automatically sets the shutter speed based on the selected ISO (50–1600).
Interchangeable Lenses: Typically bundled with two plastic lenses: a 90mm (standard) and a 58mm (ultra-wide).
Zone Focusing: Focus is manually adjusted using four set distances: 1m, 1.5m, 3m, and infinity.
